Architectural Design

We begin with site, light and program. Every project starts as a hand drawing and ends as a fully coordinated set of construction documents — geometry tested, tolerances resolved, nothing left to chance.

07The studio

We are eleven people who believe a building should be quieter than the life inside it.

MERIDIAN was founded in 2013 above a joinery workshop in Dorćol. We still work two floors from a workshop, which is not an accident — details get better when you can walk downstairs and ask whether they can actually be made.

Our work runs from a 40 m² apartment to a 9 400 m² office block. The scale changes; the method does not. Survey honestly, draw slowly, build once. Every project is led by one of the three partners from first sketch to handover.
